I dwell in between, Entwined deep in my mind. I seek to find The creations of my fears. As I entered the gates of the castle Cracks in the walls began to appear. I need to let go of what I thought was real, To find the comfort in how I feel. It's time to embrace my own insanity And see the beauty in this twisted reality.

Imprisoned in a cell In a corner of my mind, I feel the surge from inside As realities collide. I am caged inside this nightmare, The bars are closing in. I suddenly felt a warmth from inside, As light got devoured by total dark. …And then I heard voices bouncing off the walls In languages I could not understand... Darkened eyes, bloody knives, The carnage has begun. Sacrificed another one To brighten up the darkness within. As I escaped the shackles of my sanity, I prepared myself to descend through the darkness of my mind. I took my sword and shield and put on the armor of thorns. The path was narrow and dark but at the end I saw the light. Imprisoned in a cell In a corner of my mind, I feel the surge from inside As realities collide. I am no more in this nightmare I am the mare itself.
